Hi guys! It has been quite awhile since I have talked to you all I will touch on that in a later post. Today I am so excited to share with you some "Bra-blems" I have and some solutions to them with Thirdlove.
Ladies can I get a show of hands of how many of you want to immediately take your bra off when you get home after a long day? I am with you on that one..some of my bras are SO uncomfortable that I feel like I am counting the minutes until I can take it off.
As women we think a lot about what outfit to wear but it is also just as important to think about what you are wearing underneath it. You can have the best most killer outfit ready to put on but if you don't have the right undergarments to put on underneath the outfit might not look the same.
Let me give you some background on some Bra-blems I have faced and continue to at times, I am a petit 5'2 girl with a biggerish bust but super tiny ribcage. This has caused problems since I started wearing a bra back in the day and still does now. It has always been hard for me to find a bra that fits the size of my boobs but actually is tight enough around my ribs. Another bra-blem I deal with is straps falling down ALL the time its so annoying! And finally the last but in my opinion worst bra-blem I have dealt with is really painful underwire.
Now over the years of wearing bra's and through trial and error I have found some solutions. My solution for my first bra-blem is to go to an actual store for bras where they can measure you. This was game changer for me, I used to bye the pretty Victoria Secret ones but they never fit quite right so I went with my mom to the lingerie section of Nordstrom where they actually measured me. They were able to find the perfect cup & width for me.
I found for my second bra-blem it was trickier to deal with. I found some bras strap length was fine others I would need to tighten them so much it pulled up the back of the bra. This can be fixed by testing it out. What I mean by this is you can either go into a store and try on the bra and see if you can get the straps to a place that they won't fall down or pull up the back up or if you order the bra try it on at home and see if you can make it work. You will know shorty if it does or doesn't work.
For my last bra-blem the solution I have for this is assessing what you want out of the bra you will be wearing. If you want a lot of push up then you will need underwire which could potentially be slightly painful but again if you can try on the bra and see how the underwire feels then it might not be painful at all. What I have realized is not all bras are created equal or the same. All of my bras have underwire but none of them feel the same on.
My last bit of advice is don't settle for being uncomfortable! We as women have to wear bras for almost our entire lives so don't spend that time counting down the time until you can take it off. ThirdLove has great quality bras at an awesome price and they have given me a code for you all to get 15% off your order! The Code is: TLNOVBB15
Have a wonderful day XO
