Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well and started your week off right! I wanted to share a new kind of post with you all and thats a haul of some recent purchases that I am loving!
Product#1 is the Drybar Detox whipped dry shampoo. This stuff is actual magic! I only bought it two weeks ago and I am already obsessed! If you follow me on my instagram or read my blog you'll know I have super dark hair. People always ask if I dye it black that's how dark it looks ( the answer to that is no I don't dye my hair). With that being said I have tried many dry shampoo's and they usually leave a major white cast on my hair. Major no no for me! I am 22 not trying to look like I'm greying already! So this product is so interesting, it's not a spray it literally looks like whipped cream when you put some in your hands and then you massage it in like you would any other dry shampoo. At first its a bit scary you'll think it will make your hair crunchy or wet look but it doesn't it instantly looks like you just washed your hair and added some volume. I haven't used any of my others since I bought it!
Product#2 is the smashbox hydrating primer. I have heard many things about smashbox primers and a lot of youtubers rave about them so I wanted to give it a try. I am a bit of a primer snob I'll be honest but only because I have tried SO many that don't work for me. So I had really low expectations of this one and it shocked me in the best way! I have combination skin, its dehydrated and has dry patches yet my t-zone gets oily so I usually stay away from hydrating primers with the fear it'll make me look greasy but this one doesn't do that! But I don't use it all over my face. I use a pore minimizing one in my t-zone and then the hydrating primer everywhere else and it makes my foundation go on so nicely and gives me a bit of a dewy finish!
Product#3 is Bondi Sands Tanning Foam in light to medium. Fun fact about me I used to bake myself in the sun during the summer and would get a really deep tan and I loved it until realized how bad it was for my skin. So I started investing in gradual tanners and tanning foams. My current favorite is the one pictured as well as the St. Tropez tanners. I love the one pictured because it smells really good and isn't sticky. I also feel the tan better matches what my natural tan would look like.
Product#4 is Diptyque Candles. Can I just say I am obsessed!! I recently bought a big size of the Vanille scented candle and was given this small one with my purchase and I absolutely love both candles. My parents and boyfriend call me a candle hoarder because i have/ buy so many. I love the bath and body works candles and a variety of others but none compare to the diptyque candles. They burn a million times better and the scent payoff is UNREAL. Like I burn the candles in my room and my entire house ends up smelling like them. They are expensive but the quality is unlike anything else I've bought.
Product #5 Is Drybar Triple Sec Spray. I guess I am loving the Drybar since two of their products made it into my haul. I've used this product in so many ways, to add texture to my hair when its freshly washed, I have used this as dry shampoo which works great, and to add volume anywhere I want it! If you haven't tried any of the DryBar products you must! They are amazing products and smell like heaven.
