Hi Guys! I hope you are all doing well :) I am back today with a post dedicated to my favorite fake tanning products. I am almost laughing at myself for writing this post because I used to be like I am never going to wear fake tan I am fine with being pale even in the summer.
Well my attitude has sure changed. I love love fake tanners because I get to look like I spent time getting a nice tan without the skin cancer. So big win in my book. I have nothing against if you like to actually tan outside (with sunscreen I hope) but over the years I have made conscious decision to protect my skin. I used to be a big lay in the sun for hours person but after reading about the effects it has on your skin and how it can prematurely age you; I decided to research and try fake tanners instead.
That brings me to the select few I truly trust and enjoy using!
Product #1 Bondi Sands Foaming mouse in light/medium . This stuff is magic I swear! It is so easy to use, it smells amazing, dries quickly, doesn't transfer to your clothes, and lasts all week ( and I shower everyday). I choose light medium because I don't spend a lot of time in the sun and I don't want to it look so aggressively fake when it starts to wear off. But they have dark and ultra dark I think.
Product #2 Surprise it's another Bondi Sands product. I am just going to put this out there they are my absolute favorite tanning products Brand. But onto this product, it's their gradual tanning milk. WOW this stuff is a amaze and let me tell you why. It is like putting on lotion you don't need a mitt, it is SO moisturizing which I desperately need I have the driest skin, smells amazing, and dries quickly and doesn't transfer. It also has the best color pay off from a gradual tanner I have tried. Like it gives you some serious color especially if you build it up.
Product#3 is the L'oreal sublime bronze tanning towelettes.(you can get these at your local drugstore or target) These guys for being drug store are incredible. But they are a bit trickier to use in my opinion. Because you can't see the color going on your skin it's hard to know if you are getting every patch of your skin. Maybe it's just me but I missed a few spots and DAMN is it obvious and made it look a little streaky. This was entirely my human error but just wanted to share that about these. Otherwise they give amazing color pay off that lasts more then a week and smell nice and dry incredibly fast.
Product#4 St. Tropez everyday tinted body lotion. This was the first tanning product I ever tried actually because you can buy it at Sephora. I don't use this one as frequently as I used to for a few reasons, I feel it doesn't have as good color pay off as the Bondi Sands everyday tanning milk and it doesn't smell good. I also kind of feel it makes me smell bad when I wear it?? Is that just me? Do you fake tanners do that to you? Anyway this isn't a bad product at all or I would't include it. It is just better suited if you wanted a lighter color pay off. It also has really good longevity.
As you can see I included two recent pictures of me, in both of these pictures I have on a mixture of the Bondi Sands light/medium tanning foam & the gradual tanning milk. I wanted to include photos so you can get a sense of what it looks like on.
Have the best day,
