Happy Friday and happy 3 day weekend!! I am so excited to have a long weekend. I appreciated a long weekend when I was in college but now that I am working full time I have a new found appreciation haha:)
Anyway onto the post which is a Sephora Sale Haul! If you didn’t know there is a beauty insider appreciation event aka a little sale for all beauty insiders now you do! If you are Rouge you get 20%, if you are VIB you get 15%, and if you are an insider you get 10%. The sale ends on the 3rd so I wanted to get this post up for you guys in time if you wanted to shop.
This isn’t a massive haul because your girl has to be smart about her money but I did grab a few things and maybe I’ll purchase few more if I go into a sephora store. But for now I am happy with what I bought :)
How I shopped the sale. I replenish things I have that are low, replace if I got it awhile ago, and then I give myself room to pick out new things to try!
Item #1 I replenished my favorite moisturizer by philosophy called “Renewed hope in a jar”. I love this moisturizer and have more many years now. I have tried so many and this is one of the rare ones I have found that actually really hydrates my skin but doesn’t leave any clogged pores or gives pimples. It’s $39 dollars for 2 oz.
Item#2 I replaced which is my Born to Run Urban Decay eyeshadow palette. I had bought this palette about a month ago and dropped it (ugh I know) and it smashed. So I had to replace it. The colors are way too gorgeous not to rebuy. Also if you read my last post you’ll know it’s my favorite palette for this up coming fall. It’s $49 dollars for 21 shades.
Item #3 Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask. This is a try something new purchase. I have heard so many great things about this mask. I also follow both of the creators of this mask on Instagram and love their vision. I bought this mask because of course I am game for any mask that helps with hydration but I also bought it because it's a free of any yucky or harmful ingredients. It's $49 dollars.
Item #4 Briogeo Scalp Revival exfoliating shampoo. I love all the Briogeo products I've tried so far and this shampoo is no exception. It's an exfoliating shampoo that really cleans your hair which I need. Since cutting my hair short I use a lot more products on my hair than I used to. I use a lot of texturizing spray, dry shampoo, oils etc. Just typing that makes me laugh a little because when I was in high school and I had hair almost down to my hip I didn't put anything into it. That being said I tried the shampoo the other night for the first time and it really does clean your hair. It's $42 dollars.
These are all the products I've bought from the sale so far and that I am excited to use! I hope maybe some of these products seem interesting to you or that you might want to try :)
