Happy October everyone!
Ah it’s finally my favorite month of the whole year. In honor of it being the best month I wanted to share with you my “Fall Bucket List”. I drew my list out because I needed a creative art project to do and found it so fun and therapeutic. I definitely recommend doing that if you want to make it a big more creative.
Onto what’s actually on my bucket list.
Buy some cozy sweaters (don’t have to ask me twice). I think everyone should treat themselves to a sweater they love during the fall.
Drink 1 pumpkin latte. This doesn’t have to be a PSL from Starbucks. It can be one you make at home or get at a different coffee shop.
Jump and play in some crunchy leaves. This is an essential one. We only get these gorgeous leaves once in the whole year. Soak it up and enjoy it.
Bring out all your boots. Dust those bad boys off and start incorporating them back into your outfits.
Go to a pumpkin patch. Another essential for me during this time of year. My family has a tradition of going to half moon bay each year to pick out our pumpkins. We’ve been doing this since I was born :)
Bake all the Fall Recipes. You have to make at least one pumpkin thing this season. It’s a must.
Take a crisp morning walk. There is nothing better than crisp fall morning air in my opinion.
Take pictures of all the pretty fall foliage. My phone already has too many pictures of gorgeous leaves.
Add cinnamon to everything. This just seems like an obvious one right?!
Carve pumpkins! It’s so fun to carve pumpkins every year for Halloween. I look forward to it all season.
Have a Harry Potter Marathon. This is one my favorite things ever to do in the fall. There is nothing more cozy then staying in and watching harry potter.
Eat some candy corn or halloween candy.
Find a costume for Halloween. Do you guys still dress up or no? I love dressing up even though I am probably a bit old too now ;)
Have a lazy movie night with my sweet boyfriend. I love snuggling up with him watching movies or shows.
Decorate my room with Fall Decor. If you haven’t been to home goods I highly suggest it. They have the cutest fall decor. My pumpkin spice season sign is from there.
Burn Fall Candles. Girl go get yourself a pumpkin candle or a fall themed scent you love. Making your space smell like the season is so special.
Make a recipe with apples. I think I want to make a gluten free apple crumble can you say yum?!
Wear a turtleneck sweater. Your girl loves a good chunky turtleneck sweater during the fall and winter. The temperatures where I live are just starting to drop so I’ll be able to wear them soon.
Watch the Hallmark Harvest Marathon. I usually watch these with my mom because my bf won’t watch them with me haha.
Take all my sweaters out of storage and hang them on my clothing rack. I get so excited to do this every year. I pack away all my sweaters in the spring and take them out usually the first weekend of fall so am a little late this year!
Buy a new pair of boots! I always treat myself during this season to a new pair or boots & booties. This might seem a bit much to some but I find I wear them almost all year around.
Make chili and watch football. I love chili/ making chili and I love watching my boyfriend be so into the football so it’s a happy combo for me.
Wear a cozy scarf. I love wrapping myself in all the warm soft things. I also love how scarves add such a nice layering element to any outfit.
Binge watch Gilmore Girls or any series you love. I have seen gilmore girls many many times but it is one of those shows that doesn’t get old to me. And after a long heavy day at work I want to watch a show I don’t have to think much to follow.
Lastly, treat yourself to a fall mani.
I haven’t made a Fall Bucket List before but I am so happy I made one this year. I am already working my way through things on my list which makes me so happy. Let me know what’s on yours if you’ve made one or if I have no inspired you to make one. I’d love to see yours :)
